So I made a new site at Twitter. I have never liked the idea of Twitter. All you do is say what you are doing at that moment and there is no interaction at all. I don't really see how Twitter can help me in my classroom. Students won't be able to ask me questions, and I can't accurately tell them what we were doing in class that day. All in all I'm not a fan of twitter and will probably never sign on to it again.
Facebook on the other hand is a much better tool. If the students become a fan of my page, which I haven't figured out how to edit yet and add to it but it shouldn't take long, then they can see what we did in class that day. I can post a little video on there for them to look at, I can put the notes on there and they can ask me questions about the homework. I can get a hold of each one individually there and talk back and forth about what happened or how to do something. The only drawback is that I can't provide good examples of how to do something when they are on the otherside of a phone line instead of right in front of me. But that's another kink I'm sure will get worked out sooner or later.

Challenge #3
OK, so I watched the video and did the thing, but I don't get it. I am so confused about what all is popping up on my RSS feed. I have the google reader one, but I tried to MSN because I go there a lot and I got 10 new subscriptions that have items I'm not really interested in. I don't know if you are supposed to go to the website first and then just copy and paste the url of what you want or what you are supposed to do. I also saw the little RSS button in the search bar and clicked that but it just added a new RSS feed to my Mozilla program. Any help would be much appreciated...I am so confused!!!
Challenge #2
I just added igoogle as my home page. I didn't even know this thing existed and it is so cool! I can search right from my home page to find exactly what I need for class. Maybe it's a video or maybe it's just an activity I need to search for. I like this new little feature and I've been using it for a few days now, but I just forgot to blog about it. I will definitely be using this everyday! WOO! for new things!

Challenge #1
So here is the start of my blog about the challenge. I have blogged before but it hasn't been much ever. I'm not one that usually blog's much. But we will try it and I do see the benefits for the students if I do. Especially if they are sick, then they can just come to my blog and get the notes AND lecture they missed. Much more beneficial for them. I shall try to do this for my students and see how it goes.
